ABOUT LEF
Sometimes you don't need a new plan. You need someone who sees the possibilities you haven't spotted yet.
What LEF stands for
- Not just thinking differently. Actually getting something moving.
I've always had a soft spot for ideas. Especially the ones other people call difficult, ambitious or maybe even a little unrealistic.
Not because I believe anything is possible. Because I'm convinced that far more is possible than we tend to think at first.
That is exactly what LEF is More stands for.
With LEF is More, I help organisations, entrepreneurs and ambitious people discover opportunities, explore new perspectives and turn ideas into concrete results.
My work sits somewhere where innovation, entrepreneurship, strategy and connecting people meet. A fairly wide playing field, I admit. But that is exactly where I feel at home.
Because the most interesting solutions rarely appear when everyone looks at a challenge from the same expertise, the same organisation or the same beliefs.
I love bringing those worlds together. Making connections nobody had spotted yet. Finding the question behind the question. And then, instead of getting stuck in everything that could happen, working out together how to actually make it happen.
An unusual career path? More like a common thread.
- Lawyer. Builder. Connector. Lecturer. Pattern spotter.
My career started in the legal world. Then came business development, innovation, entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships and building ecosystems. Today I combine that experience with my work in higher education, where I guide future entrepreneurs and professionals.
On paper these may look like different worlds. For me it always comes down to the same thing: creating opportunities, strengthening people and moving ideas forward.
My legal background taught me to think critically and in a structured way. My experience in business development and innovation taught me to spot opportunities, convince people and turn plans into action. Education keeps me curious, critical and close to a generation that will not only live through the future, but shape it.
I bring that combination to every project.
Fewer words. What I did.
From zero to network
I built GENIUS_Antwerp from the ground up and brought dozens of employers and four higher education institutions to the same table.
From idea to funding
A funding round needed more than a glossy prospectus. That is where I was brought in. For another company I developed a new concept and secured the funding through a subsidy. And when new technology lands on the table, I help decide: in or out.
From student to entrepreneur
Through the entrepreneurship centre of AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts, I guide hundreds of students every year on their way to their own business.

New book
Praktische inleiding tot het recht
Van In, 2026 edition. Co-authored with Jan Roodhooft and Margot Van Leuvenhaege.
No standard recipe. Just a sharp eye and both feet on the ground.
I don't really believe in advice that ends with an impressive presentation. Or in innovation because the word happens to look good in a strategic plan.
I do believe in strong ideas, honest conversations, surprising partnerships and people who are willing to get something moving.
That means I love to think along, but I'll just as easily ask the critical questions. I see opportunities, but I also keep an eye on what it takes to make them happen. And I enjoy working on a strategic challenge just as much as connecting the right people to tackle it.
Always with curiosity, commitment and a healthy dose of entrepreneurial spirit.
And now and then a bit of humour. After all, we don't have to make everything so serious to take it seriously.
Making room for female entrepreneurship
Why LEF is More?
Because real progress rarely comes from simply doing what we have always done.
Because talent, ideas and opportunities only gain value when we do something with them.
And because sometimes you just need someone who says: “Why don't we actually give it a try?”
LEF is More. More perspective. More connection. More possibilities.
Got an idea, a challenge or an ambition that could use a bit of LEF? Let's get to know each other.
